The Nine of Wands in love is about perseverance and old wounds.

If you are in a relationship, you have overcome a difficult period – or are still in it. The card tells you: you will endure, and it will be worth it. Perseverance and trust are paying off now.

But there is a deeper layer, and this is the more important one. On the card, the figure is wounded, and behind them, they have built a wall of wands. In love, this is the most accurate depiction of old wounds: someone who has been greatly disappointed once loves from behind a wall.

This is understandable. But the wall doesn't discriminate. It doesn't keep out those who would hurt you – but everyone.

Gently ask yourself: are you cautious because this situation warrants it? Or because an old story hasn't ended yet?

Its shadow: suspicion. When someone punishes the old person with the current one.

The angels send this message: not everyone comes to hurt you.

If you have been disappointed many times, if you have been hurt repeatedly, then you are probably on guard now. This is understandable – the heart also learns to defend itself. But I would like you to consider: has the defense become a wall?

The figure on the card looks to the side, expecting the next blow. Many people live like this for years, and in the meantime, they don't realize that no one is attacking anymore. Only they are on standby.

If someone is approaching you now, try not to receive them as a warrior. You don't have to give everything away immediately, and you don't have to believe everything. I only ask this: don't assume the worst in advance.

If you are in a relationship and you have been through a difficult period: hold on a little longer. You are closer to peace than you feel right now. Many people give up just before the easier phase.

And ask for help. Someone bandaged the wound on your head – you haven't healed alone until now either. Allow someone to stand by you now as well.

If the card appears in reverse: if you are exhausted in the relationship, if every day feels like a battle, if you no longer know why you are doing it – do not make a decision now. Put it aside for a week, rest, and then look at it again. Exhaustion always makes the situation seem worse than it is.
