In your work, the Three of Pentacles is the card of expertise – and the moment when it becomes clear that you are needed.

Look at the image. A stonemason stands on a bench, with a monk and an architect before him, holding blueprints. And notice who among the three is speaking: the stonemason. They came to him.

Now look at what he is standing on. A bench. He is elevated just enough to be at the same height as them. He is the lowest-ranking person in the room – not a scholar, not a designer, just a man who understands stone. And yet he is an equal, because what he knows, no one else does.

This is the message of this card: expertise is the one thing that cannot be taken away from you. It doesn't require permission, title, or connections. Someone who does something well will sooner or later be asked.

If this card has appeared now, then somewhere, your opinion is awaited. Speak up.

And notice: there are three of them. The one who pays, the one who designs, the one who executes – none of them are sufficient on their own. The first true result is never born alone. If you are now tired of pushing everything alone, then you don't need to be more persistent. You need to ask for help.

The deeper layer: that temple will not be finished in the stonemason's lifetime. It was built for two hundred years – the one who started it never saw its completion. Yet he diligently carved the stone, even where no one would see it. What you are working on is similar. Its meaning does not come from you seeing its end.

The shadow: you push alone because it's faster alone. At first, it really is faster. Then it takes years.

You are not the smallest in the room. This is what I want you to remember tonight.

You sit in the meeting, and you know the answer. You see where the mistake is in the plan, you know why what they're planning won't work. And you don't speak up, because you think it's not your place. That there are people smarter than you. That someone else will.

Speak up. This week, in that situation you're now thinking of, "well yes, in that one."

And there's something else here, because you are tired. That temple will not be finished in the stonemason's lifetime. He knows this too. Yet he carves the stone properly – even where no one ever sees it.

What you are working on is also like this. Its meaning does not come from you seeing its end. It comes from it being greater than you.

Finally: ask someone. There's one thing you've been pushing alone for weeks, even though there's someone near you who could solve it in two sentences. Solitude is not a professional virtue. It just looks like one.
