Description

The Seven of Wands in love is about standing your ground.

There are times when you need to fight for a relationship – not with the other person, but with circumstances. With the opinions of those around you, with distance, with the past, with weariness. This card tells you: it's worth it.

But there's another interpretation as well: sometimes you need to stand up for yourself within the relationship. For your own needs, for your boundaries, for what is important to you. Someone who never stands up for themselves slowly disappears from the relationship.

On the card, the figure is at the top of the hill. In love, this means: you are not at a disadvantage, no matter how you feel. Your viewpoint is valid.

The half shoe: you weren't prepared. No one is ever prepared. And yet, you can still stand.

Its shadow: exhaustion. When someone has been defending the same thing for years, and no longer even knows why.

Message

The angels send this message: it is right to stand up for what is important to you.

If your relationship is currently under pressure – from outside opinions, difficult circumstances, or someone trying to interfere – then this card asks you not to let go just because it’s uncomfortable. What can be easily abandoned was usually not important in the first place.

But first, ask yourself honestly: are you holding it together alone? Because if so, that's a different situation. Someone who holds a relationship together alone for years is not loyal, just tired – and after a while, this tiredness cannot be called love.

If you have a partner, talk about what is making things difficult from the outside. Often, the problem is not with each other, but that you haven't jointly faced what is outside.

If you are alone: do not compromise on what is important. Loneliness is uncomfortable, and discomfort is a bad advisor. What you allow now will be difficult to reclaim later.

And don't forget: you don't have to be perfect to have needs. The figure on the card has a boot on one foot and a shoe on the other – and yet they stand.

If the card appears in reverse: if you are tired, if you no longer know what you are fighting for, if the whole thing is exhausting you – ask yourself: is this still important to me? If yes, ask for help. If not, then letting go is not a failure.
