Description

In love, the Queen of Swords is the card that already knows the answer before it's even asked.

This card is not naive. Nor does it want to be. Something came before it – a person, a lie, a year it won't get back – and it learned from it. That's why you can't lie to it: it's not suspicious, it just knows the smell of a lie from the inside.

If you are in a relationship: this card asks for an honest conversation. Not an argument. A conversation. There is something you haven't said, because as long as it's not spoken, you don't have to do anything about it yet. The card tells you: speaking it won't destroy what is real. It only destroys what wouldn't have lasted long anyway.

If you are single: it might not be because you aren't chosen. It's because you don't choose. And this is not a mistake – the Queen would rather be alone than unhappy. Just look honestly whether this is a decision or a defense.

Because pain creates two kinds of people. One becomes bitter, and "just tells the truth" to cause pain. The other becomes wise, and says the same thing – without anger.

Look at the other hand on the card. It's open. It had every reason not to be.

Angels don't bring you the ability to see sharply. You already can do that. Sometimes even too well.

Look at the card. Straight back, sword held high – but her other hand is open. Forward. This woman doesn't see clearly because she's smart. It's because she was once deceived and paid the price. She's not naive anymore. And yet she left that hand open.

This is what they ask of you today. Not to blindly believe in beauty again. But that what you learned from your pain doesn't become armor. Because you can't hug in armor. From the outside, both look the same – but inwardly, you know the difference.

If there's a conversation you're putting off: it won't turn into an argument if you say it without anger. And what is genuine between you, speaking it out won't destroy. It will only destroy what wouldn't have lasted long anyway.

Tonight, do one thing. Say out loud to yourself what you know. Not to him/her. To yourself. One sentence.

And don't be afraid that you are tough. Someone who is truly tough doesn't ask themselves if they are tough.

In the reversed position: you don'
