The Seven of Cups in career speaks of being scattered and planning.

This card is for those who always have a new idea. Those who would do ten things, and therefore don't finish a single one. Those whose business is already thriving in their minds – but in reality, they haven't taken a single step towards it yet.

The seven cups in the cloud: all beautiful, all possible, and none real. And as long as they float there, none can cause disappointment. This is the most comfortable place in the world – and the most unproductive.

The card asks you: choose one. Not the best. Searching for the perfect decision is the most common form of procrastination: it's more comfortable to deliberate for six months than to work for one month.

There's another interpretation as well: the shining promise. The offer that sounds too good. Among the cups are also the dragon and the serpent – not everything shiny is good.

And the covered figure: that's the professional direction you don't dare to look at. The one you know it should be, but it's uncomfortable, risky, or not what's expected of you.

Its shadow, which is good news: clarity. Suddenly it will become clear what you need to do.

The angels send this message: choose one, and see it through.

If you currently have five ideas, none of them will come to fruition. This isn't pessimism – it's mathematics. Choose the one that is most important, and write the others down on a list. They will wait for you there.

Don't plan any further. Planning is pleasant because it's risk-free. But a plan is nothing until there is a single real step behind it.

Put it on paper. A wish becomes an opportunity when it has a first step and a deadline. Until then, it's a pipe dream.

Don't believe offers that are too good to be true. If something is fast, easy, and high-yield, then it's made of clouds.

And look at the seventh chalice. The one covered by a veil. What is it that you know you should be doing, but you don't dare to say it out loud? Usually, the answer is there.

If the card lands in reverse for you: something will be decided. The fog will clear, you will choose the one, and suddenly everything will be simple.
