TWO OF WANDS – vocation

Description
The Two of Wands in your career is the card of planning and taking a bold next step.
You've achieved your first success. Something is working – a job, a business, a profession. And now the question arises: is this enough, or is there more?
This card is about strategy. Not about daily tasks: it's about the big picture. Where do you want to be in five years, and what is that one thing you could start today to get there?
The figure holds a globe. This card is also about expansion: a larger market, a new territory, more responsibility. The tarot here encourages you – but also warns you that to do this, you must let go of the wall.
And this is difficult. The second wand is nailed down: the secure present. As long as you hold onto it, you can't move forward.
Its shadow: the comfort zone. When someone stays for years in a good situation that has long since ceased to teach them anything.
Message
The angels send this message: it's time for you to decide how far you want to go.
It's not that what you're doing now is bad. Quite the opposite: it works well enough for you to stay in it for years. That's precisely why this card has arrived.
Don't plan the next step, but the direction. Sit down for an hour and write down where you want to be in five years. Not beautifully, not definitively – just write it down. What you write down will be both more frightening and more achievable than when it was just swirling in your head.
Then mark the first step and put a date next to it. This action separates the plan from the dream.
And accept that you will have to let something go. You cannot keep everything you have and build something new at the same time – you don't have enough hours in a day for that. Look at what is only in your days out of habit.
If you are afraid of taking a bigger step: fear here is not a stop sign. Most often, it means you've thought big enough for it to matter. Small goals are comfortable because you can't fail at them.
If the card appears in reverse: if you've been planning for months without starting anything, if your perspective has narrowed, if you're staying out of habit – don't make another plan. Choose that one step that has been on your list for a long time, and do it this week.
