Description

The King of Wands in a professional context is the card of leadership. It is one of the strongest cards in the area of work: it indicates natural authority, a clear vision, and the power to bring things to fruition.

This card often appears when something is entrusted to you – a team, a project, an enterprise, a decision that affects others. Its message is clear: you are capable, and you don't have to wait for someone to appoint you. Leadership is not a position, but a behavior.

Its strength lies in vision. The King is not a leader because he works more, but because he sees something that isn't there yet, and can articulate it in such a way that others can see it too. People don't follow the boss, but the vision he presents.

It can also indicate a specific person: a leader, a mentor, an entrepreneur whom one wants to follow. Such a person is inspiring but demanding – they don't punish slowness, but aimlessness.

The question this card prompts you to ask yourself is: are you leading, or are you driving? From the outside, it looks similar, but the person following you feels it completely differently.

Its shadow side is tyranny and loneliness: when someone is always the strongest in the room, and suddenly has no one to turn to.

Message

The angels send this message: there is a leader within you, and you don't need permission for it.

If something is entrusted to you now – a team, a project, a business – then this card says: you are capable of it. Not because you know everything, but because you see a direction.

Say where we should go. Leadership is not a position, but a behavior: the one who first articulates the goal begins to lead. You don't have to wait for someone to appoint you.

And don't try to lead with diligence. No one became a leader by working more than others – they became one by seeing something that wasn't there yet, and being able to articulate it in a way that others could see it too. If you are tired now, it's quite possible that you don't need more work, but a clearer picture.

But ask yourself honestly: are you leading, or are you driving? Someone who clearly sees the goal finds it hard to bear that others need time to get there. Give your people time – what you've been pondering for three months, they are hearing for the first time now.

And allow yourself to have someone to turn to as well. The one who is always the strongest in the room will eventually become very lonely.

If the card is in a reversed position: if you feel like you have to carry everything, or if your patience has run out – see what one thing you can delegate to someone this week.
