In finance, the Three of Pentacles is about your knowledge having a price.

Look at the picture. The stonemason stands on the bench, and two people are listening to him. He wasn't called there out of grace. He was called because without him, the arch won't stand. What he knows must be paid for.

And here is the question this card asks you: do you ask for money for it?

Because most people who draw this card give away their most valuable thing for free. They help because it comes easily to them. They do it because it takes five minutes. They give advice because they were asked. And meanwhile, they wonder why they don't have enough money.

What comes easily to you isn't worth less just because it's easy for you. You think the opposite, and this costs you the most.

The other side of the card: involve someone. You have a financial matter that you've been putting off for months, even though an expert could sort it out in an hour. That fee isn't an expense. It's an investment. And notice in the picture: there are three of them. The first real result is never born alone – the one who pays, the one who plans, the one who does it.

And the deeper layer: that temple won't be finished anytime soon. Cathedrals were built for two hundred years. What you are building is slow – don't measure it by what has become of it this year.

This week, ask for something. For a job, for a favor, for an hour of your time. If your stomach just clenched, then this card is precisely for you.
