SEVEN OF SWORDS – vocation

The Seven of Swords in your profession is the card of strategy – and its shadow. The same action can be a clever tactic or a deception. From the outside, the difference is not always visible. From the inside, it always is.

This card can come from two directions. One: someone is not straightforward with you. They have taken credit for your achievements. They say different things behind your back. They don't give you the full information. If you suspect this, the card tells you not to sweep the suspicion aside – but also not to start accusing without proof.

The other direction is more uncomfortable: it's you. Not out of malice – but because it's easier this way. You don't mention the mistake because you can get away with it. You round off the report a little more nicely. You don't say that you've already spoken to someone.

Look at their posture: they are moving forward, but looking back. They don't even see where they are stepping. Someone who works this way will sooner or later fall – not because they get caught, but because they are not paying attention to the path, but to what others have noticed.

And both hands are full. This is the price: you have to remember what you told whom. You have to be vigilant. This is much more tiring than speaking the truth just once.

But the card also has a permissive side: not every secret is a deception. There are things that genuinely should not be told. The card does not forbid strategy – it only warns that strategy and evasion look the same from the outside. And that a solitary game always has a price: whoever lets no one close will remain alone.

The angels are sending a message: pay attention. Either someone is not being straightforward with you in your work – or you are not being entirely straightforward. And as you read this, you know which one it is.

If the suspicion comes from outside: do not brush it aside. If you have a feeling that someone is not giving you the full picture, that something different is said in meetings than in the hallway – you are probably right. But do not start accusing without proof. Just observe. The camp on the card loses because no one is paying attention.

However, if you are the one on the card: the angels do not judge. They know that you are not doing it out of malice. It's just simpler this way. You don't mention the mistake because you can get away with it. You round up the report to make it look better. You don't say that you've already spoken to someone.

But look at their posture: they are moving forward, looking backward. They don't even see where they are stepping. Someone who works like this is not paying attention to the path, but to who noticed what. And both hands are occupied: you have to remember what you said to whom, you have to be vigilant. This is more tiring than speaking the truth just once.

And pay attention to this too: playing a lonely game has a price. Someone who doesn't let anyone close, who prefers to do things alone rather than share – will remain alone. Not because they deserve it. But because they didn't invite anyone.

If the card appears in a reversed position: now is the time to clear the air. To speak about the mistake before it comes out. It won't be pleasant – but afterward, you can work with two free hands.
