Description

The Nine of Swords in finances is the card of dawn calculations. When you sit up in bed and start adding things up. Then again. Then once more, just in case it comes out differently.

This card often appears for those whose situation isn't even that bad – only their fear is immense. Look at the image: the swords are not in her. They are floating on the wall. Nothing has happened. Financial anxiety is most often not about today, but about the day you fear.

There are nine swords because it's never about one thing. It starts with one: less came than I expected. Then: it won't be enough. Then: it will never be enough. Then: I always make bad decisions. Then: what will become of me in old age. By half past three in the morning, all of them are hanging there.

That’s why you can’t calculate your way out of it. Every answer gives birth to another sword.

Look at the carving on the side of the bed: an old defeat. Many are not afraid of their own situation, but of what they saw as a child. A parent who counted at night. A month when there was nothing. The old fear found a current excuse for itself.

And there’s the blanket: roses, stars. The life that surrounds you. It’s always there. Only your eyes are in your hands.

The card’s advice is not beautiful, but it works: don’t calculate in your head. Calculate on paper, in the morning. The head doesn’t calculate at night – it only fears.

Message

The angels are telling you this: stop the mental calculations. I know that at three in the morning you feel like you're at your most accurate. But it's actually the opposite: your brain doesn't calculate at night – it only panics.

Look at the card. The swords are floating on the wall. They don't stab, they don't fall. Nothing has happened. Financial anxiety often doesn't come from what is happening today – but from a day you fear. And that day often never comes.

There are nine swords, because it's never about just one thing. It starts with one: less came in. Then: it won't be enough. Then: it will never be enough. Then: I always make bad decisions. Then: what will happen to me when I'm old. That's why you can't calculate your way out of it – every answer gives birth to another sword.

Don't solve it at night. Write down what you're afraid of and look at it in the morning. Calculate on paper, soberly, with coffee. You'll be surprised: what was infinite at night is usually seven lines in the morning.

And look at the carving on the side of the bed: a old defeat. Many are not afraid of their own situation but of what they saw as children. A parent who calculated at night. A month when there was nothing. That fear found a current excuse – but it's not your current reality.

And pay attention to the blanket: roses, stars. The life that surrounds you. It's always there. Your eyes are just in your hands.

If the card is reversed: it's dissolving. You’re starting to sleep, the numbers are shrinking back to their real size, and one morning you'll wake up without adding anything up.
