PAGE OF CUPS – vocation

The Page of Cups in vocation is the card of the creative spark.

An idea pops up – not from planning, but from nowhere. In the shower, during a walk, half-asleep. The fish looks out of the cup and says something.

This card asks you: lean in. Because most good ideas don't die because they were bad. They die because they were dismissed in the first thirty seconds. "That's stupid." "I don't know anything about that." "Someone surely is already doing this."

The page doesn't dismiss it. They look at it. And this is the only thing that separates creative people from others – not talent, but paying attention to what appears to them.

The card also speaks of intuition at work. If a situation looks fine on paper but gives you a heavy feeling in your chest, pay attention to that. If an idea is illogical but keeps you awake, pay attention to that too.

Good news can also arrive: pages are messengers. Feedback, an inquiry, an accepted offer.

And it speaks of learning. The page doesn't know how to – and that is their strength. The beginner's eye sees what routine has long since stopped seeing.

Its shadow: touchiness. When someone takes every criticism as a personal attack, and therefore doesn't grow. Or the idea left in the drawer – which they never dared to show.

The angels send this message: write down what comes to your mind.

Today. One sentence. An idea that isn't written down disappears within twenty-four hours – and after that, you'll only remember that there was something.

Don't dismiss yourself. Your first reaction to your own idea is usually that it's silly. This isn't judgment – it's fear. Give it a day before you discard it.

Show it to someone. Not to ask for permission. But because it becomes sharper when spoken aloud.

Listen to your intuition. If something doesn't feel right about an offer, and you can't explain why – it still doesn't feel right.

Don't be ashamed that you don't know. Ask. The openness of a beginner moves you forward faster than routine that no longer looks right or left.

But don't take everything personally. If you receive criticism, look at it objectively: is there truth in it? Feedback is not an attack. Those who seek offense in every word close themselves off from growth.

If the card lands in shadow: if an idea of yours has been in a drawer for years; if you don't dare to show it; if you were offended by a comment – lean in towards that fish. You don't have to implement it immediately. Just look at it.
