SEVEN OF CUPS – love

The Seven of Cups in love is the card of daydreaming.

This card often appears when someone is more likely to fantasize about another person than to actually talk to them. When you've already played out an entire relationship in your mind – the conversations, the shared vacations, the future – while in reality, you've only exchanged two messages.

This is pleasant. Up there, in the clouds, no one rejects you, and no one is disappointed. But nothing actually happens there either.

The card asks you to reach for it. A real conversation is worth more than six months of dreams.

It also has another interpretation: multiple possibilities. When someone can't choose because each option has some advantage. In the clouds, all of them are perfect – because you haven't lived with any of them yet.

And it's also about idealization. When you see someone not as they are, but as you wish them to be. This is the most painful form of this card, because the awakening is always cruel: they didn't change. You just finally see them as they are.

The shrouded figure in the seventh cup: what you truly want but dare not say. Sometimes because it's uncomfortable. Sometimes because others expect something else from you.

Its shadow, which is good news: clarity. The fog dissipates, and you finally know what you feel.

The angels send this message: get out of your head.

If you’ve been dreaming about someone for weeks, write to them. A real sentence moves more than a hundred imagined conversations. And yes, it might hurt. But dreaming also hurts, just slower.

See them as they are. Not as they could become. The most expensive mistake in love is when someone falls in love with a possibility, not a person.

If you’re torn between several options: choose. Not the perfect one – just one. Someone who leaves all doors open enters none, and meanwhile, years pass.

Ask yourself: what do I really want? Not what is expected of you. Not what sounds good. In the seventh cup, under the veil, there is the answer – and usually, you know it too.

And don’t believe promises that are too good to be true. If someone has been promising for weeks and nothing happens, that’s not an opportunity. That’s a cloud.
