In financial matters, The Fool is the most delicate card in the deck, because it can mean two completely opposite things, and you need to know which one is speaking to you — and to do that, you just need to look at what the dog next to his feet is doing.

First, look at the image itself: a person stands on the edge of a cliff, their face turned towards the sun, their foot an inch from the abyss, and on their shoulder swings a ridiculously small bundle containing everything they own in the world.

One interpretation puts the brakes on, because in financial matters, this card can also speak of genuine recklessness: an investment you don't understand, a loan you haven't looked into, or a leap you would take without checking what you're jumping into — and if anyone is rushing you now, if you hear that you need to sign today, or that you shouldn't even try to understand, just trust it, then this card clearly asks you to stop.

The other interpretation, however, is much more common, and it's precisely what no one talks about: that you're not jumping, but have been standing on the same edge for months, preparing, reading, calculating, asking for others' opinions, then asking for someone else's again, which from the outside looks like caution, but in reality, it's that you're growing old on the edge — while the money that stands still is quietly worth less every year, because not making a decision is also a decision, you just pay the price more slowly.

That's why you should observe the dog, who barks and pulls back, because the same inner voice can be concern and it can be fear: if it whispers that you shouldn't put your money into something you don't understand and are being rushed into, then that's concern, and listen to it; but if it whispers that you don't know enough yet, maybe next year, maybe when life is calmer, then that's fear, which will never go away on its own.

The white rose held in his hand provides the measure, for it is the sign of pure intention: ask yourself who you are doing it for, because if you want to quickly catch up with something, or prove something with it, then this is not the way.

And finally, look at that small bundle, because he who carries little goes fast: this card is not about a big stake, but about a step whose failure you can endure.

This is your message: you will never be more prepared than you are now, only older — and the money that stands still in the meantime, quietly loses value every year, for not making a decision is also a decision, you just pay the price more slowly.

But pay close attention now, because this card has two faces, and you need to know which one speaks to you tonight.

Look at the dog by their feet, barking, jumping, and pulling back, because the same inner voice can be concern and it can be fear.

If that voice whispers to you not to put your money into something you don't understand, that the one who rushes you is suspicious, and that it's no coincidence you can't sleep because of it — then that is concern, and please listen to it, because this card is pressing the brakes in such a case: do not get involved in what you don't understand, no matter how beautifully they say it.

If, however, it whispers that you don't know enough yet, that maybe next year, that maybe when life is calmer — then that is fear, and that will never go away on its own, you will only get older with it.
