Descrição
The Three of Swords in love is the card no one wants to draw. A breakup. Betrayal. A truth revealed. Or the slow realization that something hasn't been what you thought it was for a long time.
This card doesn't sugarcoat. It doesn't say it will get better, and it doesn't explain why it happened. It just says: it hurts. And this honesty is worth more than any comfort.
There are three swords because heartbreak is never a single piece. The first is the loss itself – what happened, the fact. The second is what your mind does with it: the replayed scenes, the sentence you should have said, the three AMs when you start over again. The third is the deepest: what you believe about yourself in the process. That you weren't enough. That it's your fault. That this will always happen to you.
You can't remove the first one. You can remove the other two – and it's precisely those two that we often leave in for years.
The rain in the picture is not a punishment, but a cleansing. This card asks you to do what no one usually does: let it fall. Don't be strong. Tears have a job to do.
And observe the most important detail: the heart is open. Not armored, not closed off. The swords reached it precisely because it loved. You didn't make a mistake – you were open. The card doesn't ask you to learn how to defend yourself better. It asks you not to turn your heart into armor. Armor protects you from the next sword, but it also shuts out everyone else.
Mensagem
I'm not going to explain it to you. I'm not going to say that everything happens for a reason, and that one day you'll be grateful for it. It hurts now. That's it. And that's okay.
The angels didn't come to comfort you. They sat down beside you and said nothing. They are just there while it rains.
Let it rain. Don't be strong, don't hold it back, don't tell yourself that others have endured worse. The feeling you don't live through doesn't disappear – it just sinks to the bottom of your heart and will control you from there. For years. It will also be present in the next person if you don't let it surface now.
But let me tell you something about the three swords. The first is what happened – you can't pull that out. The second is what your mind does with it: the replayed scenes, the sentence you should have said. And the third is what you come to believe about yourself in the process. That you weren't enough. That it's your fault.
This third one is the cruelest, and the least true. Pull it out. You are not the mistake. You were just open.
Look at the image: the heart is open. The swords reached it precisely because it loved. An open heart is the heart of the brave – even if three blades are now stuck in it. Don't turn it into armor. Armor protects you from the next pain, but it also shuts out the person who will one day be good to you.
If the card appears in reverse: it's resolving. It hasn't passed – it's resolving. And forgiveness doesn't come from understanding why it happened. It comes from waking up one morning and realizing: that wasn't your first thought anymore. The rain stops. All rain stops.
