Opis
In love, the Four of Cups is the card of routine – and this is far more dangerous than arguments.
If you are in a relationship, there is probably no major problem. No arguments, no drama, no third party. You just don't feel anything. And this is confusing, because you can’t point to what the problem is.
On the card, in front of the figure, are three cups. These represent everything you have in your relationship: reliability, shared life, someone who knows how you drink your coffee. These haven't disappeared. You've just gotten used to them – and what we get used to becomes invisible.
This is not your fault. The human mind works this way: in a few months, it takes anything for granted. That's why your partner's good qualities become unnoticeable over time, while the annoying ones become more and more prominent.
The fourth cup from the cloud: an approach, a gesture, an opportunity for renewal. Perhaps your partner has been offering it for some time, and you haven't noticed.
If you are single, this card invites you to look around. Maybe you can't find anyone because you're not even looking. Or because you are looking for an image next to which every real person is a disappointment.
But it also has an important and gentle interpretation. Sometimes apathy is not routine – but defense. If someone has been deeply hurt, then not-feeling is a survival strategy. In such cases, the card does not scold. It merely asks: for how long?
Sporočilo
The angels are sending you this message: look at it again.
Look at the person you live with. Not like you did yesterday – but as if you're seeing them for the first time. What is it that you love about them? When was the last time you said it out loud?
This card tells an uncomfortable truth: most relationships don't die in conflict. They die quietly, in routine. No one hurts anyone. It's just that one day, you realize you haven't really looked at each other in years.
Notice the three chalices. Write down what you do have. Not to settle for it – but to see it. What you see, you can appreciate.
Reach for the fourth chalice. If your partner approaches you, don't brush them off. If they invite you somewhere, go. One doesn't escape apathy with arguments, but with action.
Do something you've never done before. The only thing that works against routine is novelty. A place you haven't been yet. A question you haven't asked them yet.
And if you are alone: go to that event you would normally say no to. The fourth chalice won't come into your apartment.
If the card is reversed, that's wonderful news: you're waking up. Suddenly, you'll be interested again. Not because you decided to be – but because you moved.
